Remote Pilot Certificate Knowledge Test Prep — 329 questions across 14 topic areas
I've been working in drone systems for a while now — airspace APIs, FAA integrations, waiver automation — but always from the software side. I got curious about what it would actually take to hold the stick myself, so I started looking at the FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate.
The knowledge test is no joke — 60 questions covering everything from airspace classification and weather interpretation to crew resource management and emergency procedures. The pass threshold is 70%, and the FAA expects you to know your sectional charts cold.
Rather than just reading through the study guides, I used Claude to extract questions directly from the official FAA training materials and build this quiz. It ended up with 329 questions across 14 topic areas, with explanations and source references for every answer. There's a study mode if you want to read along, and a history page that tracks your scores over time so you can see where you're weakest.
I'm still studying. Jump in if you're working toward your Part 107 too.
